Sheriff
Lew,
I'm gonna give you a senario and you tell me if I'm overstepping my legal grounds on search and seizure.
Two misguided youths are discovered driving around in a drug infested neighborhood in a rental car. Officer friendly notices they fail to signal a turn and pulls them over. Officer friendly asks for the rental contract, drivers license and proof of insuruance.
Youth #1 (driver) gives up contract but is not the lessor of the vehicle nor is he listed as an additional driver. Youth #1 also cannot produce the credit card on which the car was rented.
Officer friendly gets both out of car and searches vehicle finding mass quantities of dope.
Was my search legal. Does driver not on contract nor listed as additional driver have reasonable expectation of privacy?

Sounds like a clear cut case of sexual hairasment to me. Leave the young guys alone, or go to LaSalle HS and troll for them. I recalled you wanting to do that awhile back.
